The main function of the high-pressure vacuum contactor is to operate the large load current frequently, especially suitable for harsh environment and flammable and explosive dangerous places.

The working principle of the high pressure vacuum contactor is similar to that of the low pressure contactor, the contactor is drawn by charging the coil, and the contactor returns when the coil is out of power. The main difference is that the high-pressure vacuum contactor can be operated on and off in a vacuum environment, and the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is used to extinguish the arc, which is suitable for the on-off of high voltage and large current.

    The high voltage vacuum contactor is designed to operate without protection, similar to the switch on a household light, it cannot disconnect the short circuit current, so it is often used in conjunction with a high voltage vacuum circuit breaker to provide more comprehensive circuit protection.
