Correct Use Instructions – Outdoor Switchgear Cabinet

  1. Installation Location
Install on a stable, level foundation above flood level. Ensure minimum 1.5 m clearance from obstacles for ventilation and access.

  2. Environmental Limits
Operate only within -25°C to +55°C ambient temperature. Avoid areas with corrosive gases, salt spray, or heavy dust.

  3. Access Control
Only qualified personnel with proper PPE (gloves, insulated tools, safety helmet) may open the cabinet. Keep doors locked when not in service.

  4. Pre-Operation Check
Visually inspect for moisture, animal nests, cable damage, or visible corrosion. Verify grounding connection is intact.

  5. switching Procedure
Open external isolator before opening the cabinet door. Use identified handles only. Do not force mechanisms. Follow sequence: isolate → verify zero voltage → ground → access.

  6. During Operation
Keep cabinet doors closed and sealed. Monitor internal temperature and humidity if equipped with sensors. Do not block ventilation louvers.

  7. Maintenance
Clean exterior quarterly. Test heater and anti-condensation device before rainy season. Check gaskets for cracking every six months.

  8. Emergency
If overheating, smoke, or arcing sound occurs, stand clear, de-energize upstream, and report immediately. Do not attempt internal repair while energized.

  9. Storage if Not Used
Close all openings. Store in dry, shaded area. Replace desiccant bags every three months.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or equipment damage.
